You will have seen the latest warnings from the Government, that the coronavirus epidemic in our country is likely to get significantly worse before it gets better. This makes everybody's efforts - especially staff in our NHS and social care - even more important, as we try to stop the spread of this dangerous virus. Thank you for what you are doing.
This is why it is so important that we all follow the government's advice and stay home. If we have to go out, e.g., for food or daily exercise, we must all practice social distancing.
The local police have had some concerns about large numbers of people congregating in our parks and along our riverside. Please do all you can to avoid doing your daily exercise in a crowded area where you could pass on the infection.
Exercise at Home
Local pilates instructor Rachel Hardman is offering online pilates classes on Zoom. This is a good way to get exercise without leaving the house and to support a local business.
