COVID-19 Update – 3 April

National Autism Awareness Week

This week is National Autism Awareness Week. We know that for many people with autism across our Borough this is a particularly difficult time.

So yesterday, on National Autism Awareness Day, I “zoomed” with Tracey from Express CIC, an amazing local charity that supports the families of children with autism, based in Tolworth.

You can watch our short chat here – and find out just how brilliant Express CIC are. .

The National Autistic Society website has more details on how to spread awareness and to explain autism to others here.

Dicky Birds Nurseries

At this critical time, it is incredibly important that key workers are able to carry on their vital work to support our community through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dicky Birds nurseries have places for key worker children still available. You can get in touch with them by emailing or phoning headchick@dickybirds.co.uk 020 8942. 5779.

Story Time

I know lots of parents in our area are struggling to find things for their children to do. I love to read my children stories- so my daughter and I have picked out a favourite of hers to share with you all.

You and your family can watch me reading 'Dogs Don't Do Ballet' by Anna Kemp here on my Facebook page.

Keep Updated

If you know of charities, voluntary groups or businesses who I could mention in these updates, please email me at edward.davey.mp@parliament.uk. Thank you.

My team and I are regularly updating our website with the latest information on COVID-19. You can follow this here.
