The BBC’s Blue Planet 2 in 2017 was a huge success in the campaign against plastic pollution.

Back in 2014, as a Government Minister, I helped introduce England’s first ever plastic bag tax so I’m glad to back organisations like the Marine Conservation Society (see photo) in pushing this work.
