Ed meets with SWR executives

Local Lib Dem MP, Ed Davey, has met with top train managers from South Western Railway and Network Rail to demand action on the poor services to and from London Waterloo.

Complaints about delayed or cancelled trains have rocketed over the past four months since South Western Railway (SWR) took over the franchise. With already high ticket prices rising again in January, local Lib Dem MP and Surbiton commuter, Ed Davey, said his 'patience has run out'.

"My letters and meetings with these train companies have left their top executives in no doubt how local people feel about these awful services. And that we want a huge and rapid improvement."

“Let's see if they deliver on their commitments to me - of extra infrastructure maintenance, reliability improvements to their rolling stock and better management of train crews."

"Help me hold these train companies to account by giving your feedback. Sign up to my mailing list for more information."
